Mission Statement
Our Lady of Sorrows Church Sports and Arts Kids League (SPARKLE) is located in the culturally diverse and historical Lower East Side of Manhattan. Since 1959 we have been dedicated to teaching our children responsibility, respect and teamwork. Our program provides inner city youths with the chance to interact with each other, gain confidence, self-respect and the opportunity to learn and grow within the friendly competition of sport.
Registration
Our Summer 2013 baseball and girls softball registration begins on Friday, January 4 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and ends Friday, March 1 (or earlier if all slots are filled) at 103 Pitt Street in the cafeteria. The application attached below must be completed in its entirety and can be returned any Friday in January-March during the hours of 6:00-7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30-1 p.m. The age cut-off is as of May 31, 2013 for Pee Wee and Little League; April 30, 2013 for Super Little League; and December 31, 2012 for Girls Softball.
